Robin McLaughlin Williams was born in Chicago, Illinois and graduated from the prestigious Juilliard School of Music and Performing Arts in New York. He received his first Golden Globe nomination for his portrayal of a Russian circus performer in Moscow on the Hudson and was nominated for the Best Actor Oscar three times, ultimately winning Best Supporting Actor. A comedic but haunted genius whose life ended in August 2014.
