Customer review: I loved this book from the moment I started to read it. I am a sci-fi enthusiast and a lover of a good fiction. This book kept me on the edge of the seat; I gave up sleep at night only to find out what happened next. I was impressed with the variety of social and political issues, present and past, the author was able to wave through her story where the main characters were humans, part humans/part machines, and aliens. I appreciated her exploration of human emotions and psyche. I was sorry when I reached the end of the book; not because of the ending, but because I wanted to read more. Hoping for a sequel...I loved the plot and the writing style. I was surprised this was translated from Spanish. The translation was very good. I am definitely going to read other books written by this author. But finishing this book means I can now start going to bed on time.
